What a client-service CRM needs to do
Client businesses do not only track deals. They retain discovery notes, stakeholders, promises, proposal status and the handoff into paid work. That makes data structure and workflow continuity more important than a long feature list.
A small team should be able to answer who owns the next action, what changed, which opportunity is blocked and which client information must move into delivery.
Compare the whole cost curve
Per-seat pricing is only the first layer. Add required onboarding, lead-capture add-ons, email volume, automation tiers and any separate tools needed for proposals or invoicing.
Annual-plan monthly equivalents should not be described as monthly cancellation. The invoice timing and minimum commitment matter to cash flow.
Use the decision pages
The pages below separate consultant, agency and stack-level decisions. Every recommendation is document-based unless a page explicitly labels measured or observed work.
